August 2023 CCW Meeting
Fellow Woodturners, the next meeting of the CCW is Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at the Lyndon House Arts Center, 293 Hoyt St, Athens. The meeting begins at 5:30 PM and ends at 8 PM. If you can, come at 5 PM to help with setup so the meeting can begin on time. The demonstrator for the month is Jeff Mead. He will demonstrate the turning of a wing bowl from scratch as well as demonstrate the sharpening of the bowl gauge. He is also bringing several of his turned pieces for display. Remember to bring something for the raffle. If you haven’t paid dues for the current year, you may do so at the meeting or mail your check to Mike Rozier at 175 Hidden Lake Dr, Hull, GA 30646.
