For Sale: Jet 1642 Lathe $900
It is the model older than the current 1642. It is in great shape; the bed is free of rust and the bearings are great shape. I’m selling it because I’m downsizing to a smaller lathe. It is currently in Canton, but I’m moving to Hull next month. I can send pictures or feel free to contact me with any questions.

March 2020 CCW Meeting Reminder
Fellow Woodturners, the next meeting of the CCW is Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at the Lyndon House Arts Center, 293 Hoyt St, Athens. The meeting begins at 6 PM and ends around 8:30 PM. The demonstrator for the month is Mike Peace from Gwinnett County. Mike has demonstrated for us several times in the past and he is always an interesting teacher and demonstrator. Mike will be demonstrating the turning of a chess set. He authored an article in the current (February) edition of the American Woodturner Magazine. You can also observe Mike’s other turnings on his YouTube Channel, “Mike Peace Woodturning”. Remember to bring a friend and something for the raffle. Also, if you have not paid your 2020 dues you may do so at the meeting or send your check made out to “Classic City Woodturners” to Mike Rozier, 175 Hidden Lake Dr, Hull, GA 30646. Dues are $30 for an individual or $35 for a family membership. Dues and raffle ticket sales are the only sources of income for the club that allows us to have demonstrators of Mike Peace’s caliber.
